Therefore, nearly all the production of Black Pepper every year is directed for export to overseas market especially the Europe and the USA - the largest consuming countries. Recently, Vietnam immigrates a new kind of pepper from India which have an early harvest in August or September. However, this kind is very few, only grown in Xuan Loc (Dong Nai province); production is also very small - around 100 tonnes per annum. As a majority, Vietnam Black Pepper is mainly grown in the Central and the South of Vietnam: Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Tri, and Phu Quoc.
