Business Ports And Coconut:
The largest city in the region, Manado is a key tourist transit point for visitors. Sam Ratulangi International Airport of Manado is one of the main entry ports of Indonesia. The local language spoken in Manado and the surrounding area is called Manado Malay.
The principal deep-water port of the Northern Sulawesi is at Bitung, about 48km from Manado. This seaport carries trade between one island and the others, as well as with Singapore and the Philippines.
