The most important resource within every SME is it Human Resource and the same is true of the ABiGEMs. They are lead by a Business Centre Director who has many years experience of working with SMEs who is supported by a team of Business Support Managers (BSM), who previously worked in the private sector and who are now the main point of contact between the ABiGEM and its client SMEs.

SME owner managers often have to accomplish a wide range of key business functions on their own or at best, with a multi-skilled staff. The BSMs and other Business Advisers that will deal with SMEs need to be able to work with them across all areas of business and the project will ensure that ABiGEM business advisers are:

Technically competent in all business areas
Able to relate these business areas to the SME business
Able to talk the language of SMEs
