Ex-Cell-O Micromatic Lapping Machine. This double surface microflat lapper is a 4-way, planetary type lapping machine where the parts are held in place by (4) carrier rings which then rotate the work in the same direction but at a slightly different speed. A chain turns the carrier rings about a stationary gear in the center of the wheels, the parts rotate about their own centers and around the centers of the wheels generating flat, parallel surfaces.
