The RZ 361 S CNC gear grinding machine is ideally suited for gears and pinions in small and large batches. The RZ 361 S is equipped with a modern multi-processor control and shifting. Gear data like number of teeth, lead angle and tooth modifications are controlled and optimised by the computer. The machine works with a cylindrical grinding worm. The shift grinding concept makes the continuous generating grinding process to the most efficient method of producing hard finished precision gears. The grinding wheel is re-profiled on the machine. This and compensation of the profiling amount are automatic.
