This has a rennishaw PH9 on it and a P19 interface and has CMES for software. It is an LK G80 machine. It has Heidenhain glass scales which are the best you can buy. It is in great condition and has been stored in a warehouse too.Very similar, the bridge is still assembled in the pictures I sent. The ph9 is in the retracted position and still connected with about a 4-5mm probe. This machine was pampered with service contracts and in a clean room. It has twin granite slides and is in excellent condition for an 88-89 model machine and is actually as accurate as the new Zeis machines that were put into this plant.
I don't have a picture of the machine plate. The only things that are disassembled are the slide covers and the wire way. I have all the equipment safely stored and am not in a rush to sell it. This machine has not been used for about 5 years as it was stored in the warehouse with the intentions of an upgrade. An upgrade from Brown and Sharpe to the latest version of pc dmis with a new interface setup etc. has been priced to me at $17,000. The machine has a granite plate measuring 48"x81.5"x16". The travel I am not yet sure about but they told me it was very good because they could locate several parts on the plate at once to check. I did not see any chips in the granite plate. The scales were in good shape too. The machine was well taken care of. They took it out because they wanted all machines to use the same programming software and Zeiss would not support it if they installed the Zeiss software on it. They tell me it is actually a more accurate machine than the Zeiss. It should be somewhere around 36"x 60"x 18" but let me find out for sure.
These are specs from a similar unit in the UK which is 1987 model, our unit is 1988-89.
