Thread type casing head housing design features a 45 degree landing shoulder. This design avoids damage to sealing areas by drilling tools and prevents test plug and blow protector wedging problems when pressure is applied. This design also allows for accurate vertical positioning of annular seals, control line ports and test ports. A landing base plate is an option at marshy site or offshore platform.
