Silicone Rubber for Architectural Restoration

Moldix® C52 Series silicones are brushable tin cure silicone developed especially for casting cultural relics, flowerpot, fountain, plaster, candles, resin and other old architectural restoration products with complex pattern in details, which can protect the mother board. Making a silicone mold by brushing way can reduce the cost of molding material and an external mold (can be gypsum or fiberglass) is required for supporting the silicone mold. Moldix® C52 Series already features in high tear strength and durable mold life. However, If you have extra high requirements for the tension and tear strength for the mold, please cover the glass fabric during the cross linking reaction which can improve the casting times.
