Mostly used for outdoor processing and material handling, gantry cranes consist of a two legged A-frame support. Gantry cranes also come with cantilevers. Cantilevers are a projecting structure, supported at one end and used for carrying a load at the other end or along the length. There are three types of gantry cranes, including single girder cranes, truss girder and double girder cranes.
