Working Principle The material to be ground is fed to the mill via a bucket elevator and a chute and falls onto the center of the rotating grinding table. Centrifugal force carries it to move into the groove to be ground and further toward the rim of the grinding table. With the nozzle ring hot gas is distributed evenly in the mill. The ground material spills over the rim of the grinding table and is entrained and dried in the stream of hot gas. Depending on the gas velocity, either all or some of the material is carried through the separator classifies the material into finished product and oversize.
