We can supply complete block ice plant on turn-key basis. Ice Can is generally used in block ice plant. Usually it has thin thickness because of the heat transform efficient. Thicker the can longer the freezing. It made of galvanized steel or stainless steel because the brine which immerses and freeze the can is corrosive. We can supply the can made of common galvanized steel, SS 216 or SS304. The SS304 has the longest service life due to its excellent rust-resistance. The cans are filled with fresh water and submerged in brine of chilling tank. The chilling brine will frozen the water in cans into ice after several hours. Then ice cans are hoist by crane and put into thawing tank where they are immersed into thawing water to release the ice from the cans. So usually ice cans are made to contain about 5% more than their rated capacity to compensate for thawing. We can supply cans with various dimensions according Your specific requirement.
