| Ionia Stone Company started business in 1995. The factory processes the rich marble and travertine resources of Turkey by modern machinery and presents a wide range of high quality products to both domestic and world markets as well as completing the applications of high quality projects. The factory is built in an Industrial Region on an 18.000 m2 open, 8.000 m2 closed area. The Factory is divided into four main production zone. These are : 1- Tile Line 2- Slab Line 3- Special Productions 4- Mosaic Line The tile line has three block cutting machine, two splitting machines, four and six head cutters, one tile line (Breton), one polishing tile and two filling machines. The total capacity of the tile line is 2.700.000 sqf per year. In the slab line, there are two gangsaws; one with forty blades and other being a hundred blade BM Super 100. The line also has a polishing & calibrating line as well as a bridge cutter.The annual production capacity of this line is 1.600.000 sqf.Special productions line produces the art work for projects with success. It has a waterjet and Intermac Masterstone (CNC cutting, hole punching, writing, etc.) generally used for production of kitchen tops, tables, coffee tables, vanity tops, fireplaces, medallions and etc. The factory is also equipped with a modern waste treatment system. Mosaic line produces mosaic tiles with sizes ranging from 1x1 to 7.4 x 7.4 also tumbled and chiselled- edge productions up to 60x 60. The annual production capacity of this line is also 150.000 m2. The company has its owns quarries of Light Travertine and Noche Travertine in Nigde Region of Anatolia. Both quarries' annual production adds up to an average of 15.000 - 17.000 m3 of blocks. General production types include travertine, marble tiles, 30x60, 30xfl, 40x40, 60x60, polished and unpolished slabs, cut-to-size productions, 12", 16", 18", 24" tiles for US market and stairs, risers, window sills, parapet, skirting, vanity tops, table tops, kitchen tops, borders, fireplaces and special productions open to customers requests. |
