Compact 200 Steel Bailey Bridge Bailey Bridge is one kind of prefabricated bridge, which is composed of 3m panels and assembled together to withstand various lengths and strengths allowing the crossing of vehicles. Standard Bailey bridge (AASHTO HS or British HA, HB) is a portable pre-fabricated truss bridge, designed for use by military engineering units to bridge up to 60 m (200 ft) gaps in some remote areas. It requires no special tools or heavy equipment for construction, the bridge elements are small enough to be carried in trucks, and the bridge is strong enough to carry tanks and heavy trucks. It is considered a great example of military engineering as temporary bridge. Bailey bridge continues to be produced and used today for various civil projects in China. Steel Bailey Bridge is also called as portable steel bridge, panel bridge, modular bridge, steel truss bridge or temporary bridge with pedestrian. There are two models, namely Compact 100 and 200 bridges in international market. In China, there are two sizes of panels accordingly, i. e. 3m*1.4m (Compact 100) and 3.048m *2.134m (Compact 200). It can be assembled into 3.7m, 4.2m and 7.56m standard width bridges or other extra widths.
