The - MICROMAT screwdriver excels in the screw assembly to extreme small torque values, down to its minimum capability of 0.02 Nm (3 in.oz). The extremly high torque accuracy of the MICROMAT clutch operates similar to the proven principle of all disconnect and shut-off clutches.
The pre-set torque will be held, independent of use of operation, air pressure fluctuations and screw joint.
For ornamental screws with a scratch sensitive surface, we recommend the use of our MICROMAT screwdrivers with an integrated seed-function. This option allows the bit to engage with the screw drive at a lowered speed. Once full down-pressure is applied, the screw is then assembled with the rated full speed. For this screwdriver type we recommend a possibility of interruption of air supply.
