HANWEI WOODEN CHAIR Dining chair, wood chair, wooden chair, wooden furniture Building a chair is a very specialized and accurate skill that cannot be compromised, as the consequence of a chair collapsing under a person can be serious. The key to fine chair construction is to have exceptional joints that fit perfectly, yet accommodate the odd angles needed to make a chair comfortable. No craftsman can cut a joint, particularly an angled joint, as accurately as a modern woodworking machine. A chair must be comfortable to sit in. The back rest of our chairs and carvers are shaped and angled to fit comfortably and give exceptional lumbar support. The arm rests of carvers are set at the correct height and angle to allow comfortable reclining. The seat must give good support for long periods. It is interesting to note that a solid wood seat is often much more comfortable than an upholstered seat (just as a firm mattress is more comfortable for many people than a soft mattress). That being said, we do offer two types of seat for most of our HANWEI chairs solid wood and upholstered. All are very comfortable and attractive. A chair should also be attractive and pleasing to the eye. We believe that we have achieved that with our designs at HANWEI FURNITURE. However, we do also offer a turned front leg option for our Triple Slat, Vertical Back and Ladder Back chairs.
