The tempering by induction represents an advantageous alternative to conventional furnaces. The main advantages may be summarized to three important aspects:
Small dimension: less than 1,5 m long.
Reduction of the intermediate stock of parts, with a maximum of 15 parts in process.
Easy incorporation in an automatic production line.
The induction treatment offers results perfectly comparable with those obtained in conventional furnaces and achieves a perfect homogeneity of heating, with differences in temperature of less than 10ºC.
A configuration based on a 50 KW generator can achieve a production greater than 350 parts per hour.
