High Intensity Discharge Lamp System(HID) is a new type of lighting technology that is different from the conventional halogen bulbs that use a heated tungsten filament. The HID xenon lamp products light by an electrical discharge between two electrodes. Xenon gas and metal halide salts are putted into the light emitting tube installed inside the HID Lamp. The electrons inside emitting tube collide with the metal atoms, using 23000V high voltage to produce light.
