Miter Heads
Two heads with preset cutting angles 90, 45, 67.5 (22.5) degrees are already loaded in the Touch Screen. Other angles can be set. There are pneumatic actuators and stops for each preset angle.
The 2 heads can operate in tandem or individually. The LH head is fixed. The RH head glides on linear guides and is slid manually with a fine adjustment knob for accurate positioning and a lock handle.
Operator station
This glides on a ball slide. It facilitates automatic and manual feed and cycle run functions.
It has all operating sectors and buttons. There is a selector for LH, RH or Both cutting heads.
Digital display
This is attached to the moving head and controls the miter angles and positions.
The Touch screen display and NC control system enables angles and profiles to be entered so that the saws can cycle.
Clamping
Cushioned pneumatic clamps are actuated by push button.
After each cut the clamps will release.
Saw Head
The cutting blades are fed by pneumatic cylinders with infinitely variable speed adjustment on feed and return.
Central Conveyor.
The unit raises and lowers automatically and spreads to match the cut length.
Operating procedure
Load extrusion on input conveyor.
Adjust / locate clamps to suit the profile of the extrusion.
Set blade feed speed if necessary.
Set miter angle. Each preloaded angle has stops which mechanically locate the blade angle.
These are also adjustable if needed.
Locate the moving head by pulling the handle and sliding it to position. Use the fine adjustment for final precise location.
AFTER SET UP:
Press Saw Start
Load an extrusion.
Press Clamp and Feed buttons simultaneously.
Clamps will actuate and both blades will cut and return.
