Ingersoll-Rand model: Cable Lay-air 400 is a specially engineered package for cable laying application using cable blowing technology. This package consists of a rotary screw compressor directly coupled to a Cummins water-cooled diesel engine model 6BTA 5.9C, through a flexible coupling. The discharge air is cooled using a specially designed air-cooled after-cooler and rendered moisture free with a moisture separator. The complete unit is enclosed in a sheet metal canopy and mounted on a heavy duty two wheel under carriage provided with tow bar and a third support wheel. Overrun and parking brakes are provided as standard.
