Product Description SALIENT FEATURES CASING: The casing is made out of Robust FRP segments, which can be dismantled and re-assembled easily during transit, erection and maintenance. FILL: The fill is made out of Rigid PVC., U. V. Stabilised and of honeycomb type which is designed to have the highest contact area per unit volume, with least resistance to the flow of air. FAN: The fan is axial flow type, consists of cast aluminium or FRP Varypitch Aerofoil blades fitted on a M. S. Hot dip galvanised hub with S. S. 304 "U"' bolts & nuts. The balanced fan assembly is mounted directly on the weather proof flanged motor shaft. WATER DISTRIBUTION: Hot water is sprayed uniformly over the fill through polypropylene/ABS nozzles fitted on M. S. Hot dip galvanised/P. P. Distribution piping. The nozzles are accessible through the inspection window fitted on the tower body. DRIFT ELIMINATOR: The two pass drift eliminator is of Rigid P. V. C. Designed to minimise entrainment losses below 0.05% of the circulation rate with lowest pressure drop. BASIN: Normally the tower is fitted on the FRP basin. The basin is placed on R. C. C. Pads/Slabs. The basin has suction, makeup, overflow, drain nozzles.
