Alumina balls
Microcrystallic alumina grinding balls produced by the company are of high strength, high density, well wear resistant and practicability. They are suitable for applications for ball mills, agitators, vibro-mills and sand-mills etc. They are widely used in industries of ceramic tiles, sanitay wares, zircone, kaolinite, refractories, paints, coatings, etc all.
The company can provide two different kinds of balls formed by isostatic pressing or automatic rolling procedure according to the requirements of the customers.
Size range of the isostatic pressed balls: ��40-��80 mm
Size range of the rolling formed balls: ��1-��50 mm
The medium alumina balls have the same shapes and sizes with the grinding high alumina balls. The properties are listed as following:
Test method of the wear rate
The test is carried out in 7L standard ball mill for 24 hours at 80 rpm with 4kg balls and 4kg water. The dry weights of balls before and after test are M and M1 respectively. The self wear rate is:
(M-M1)/24M��1000 g/h kg
