It is a braided packing made of Aramid Fiber yarns impregnated with P T FE dispersion and treatde with lubricant．T his packing can bear higher—pressure applications than other types of braided packing Due to its steel-like strength，this yarn can be employed separately or as back-up rings with other types of packing．This packing has been developed to replace asbestos packing for pump systems．It covers all the service ranges which asbestos packing provides and even muchbetter．It affords longer service life under severe conditions which conventional asbestos packing can not provide satisfaction，such as sand sulrry，tinmining，paper slurry，feed water pump of power stations．etc．
