Safety Clamps are necessary tools for handling flush joint pipe and drill collar. They are classified to two categories: WA Type and MP Type. They are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K. MP safety clamp can act as a shoulder elevator, if needed, or fitted with lifting eyes to handle large diameter pipe. The versatile tools can also be inverted and fitted with hold down lugs for use in all types of snubbing operations. For maximum durability and long life in the field, interchangeable handles, lifting eyes and hold down lugs are forged, heat-treated steel.
