This means that the rear face can be used as a datum face for the following workpiece. This arrangement allows very high clamping densities. Only 15 mm clamping clearance is needed between workpieces on the smallest Micro Clamp module. In spite of its miniature dimensions, it can develop a clamping force of up to 10’000N.
