Aluminium Oxide is one of the most economical abrasive which can be used for dry and wet blasting application to have a coarse profile to a micro finish. it is manufactured by electro-fusing high grade Brauxite for Brown Al. Axide, and high grade Alumina for White Al. Oxide. At this stage the material is second to diamond in hardness. it is further cushed, screened, washed and in some cases cured. Angular and fine cutting edges of aluminium oxide are invaluable in blasting as well and leaves no ferrous residue on blasted surfaces. This is available mainly in white and brown colour. Aluminium oxide can be recycled number of times. Al. oxide can be used for descaling, deburring, surface profiling, etching, etc.
