It is a liquid cooled, 4-stroke ATV with a fully automatic transmission. The transmission has high and low range as well as reverse and Park (something very few ATV have, and very handy in the back of your pickup). It has four wheel independent suspension and on-demand 4 wheel drive meaning that when you need 4x4 you only have to flip a switch. When you dont need it you can turn it off and save gas as well as do your power slides, and believe me it will do them. The Polaris also has a speedometer with a digital display that shows hours, miles, trip-meter, 4x4 vs 4x2, and a tachometer. In addition, unlike a 2004 the 2005 model gives you a digital fuel gauge. It can also be programmed to give you reminders when it is due for maintenance.
