It is a liquid cooled, 4-stroke ATV with a fully automatic transmission. The transmission has high and low range as well as reverse and Park (something very few ATV have, and very handy in the back of your pickup). It has four wheel independent suspension and on-demand 4 wheel drive meaning that when you need 4x4 you only have to flip a switch. When you dont need it you can turn it off and save gas as well as do your power slides, and believe me it will do them. The Polaris also has a speedometer with a digital display that shows hours, miles, trip-meter, 4x4 vs 4x2, and a tachometer. In addition, unlike a 2004 the 2005 model gives you a digital fuel gauge. It can also be programmed to give you reminders when it is due for maintenance. It also has a 12 volt accessory outlet for a spotlight, cell phone charger, etc. Racks on both ends are standard, it has full floor boards instead of pegs and this is one of the most powerful ATVs that money can buy. They are truly the Cadillac of ATV.Additionally, these ATVs were totally re-designed for the 05 model year. Updates include a storage box built into the back of the ATV, a large storage area under the front rack surface and work/back-up lights that you can turn on with a toggle switch. Additionally the 2005 and newer machines are wider for more stability and have longer travel suspension for an even better ride. You also get a receiver style trailer hitch.
