Dynamic Breaking Resistors (DBR) are specifically designed to satisfy the following needs: * Starting of winding rotor motors, specially those of high power and high starting torque. * Regulation of direct current motors suited for heavy service. * Dynamic breaking for direct application or trough inverters.While correctly used, the DBR resistors allow: * Making the starting easier, making them softer. * Getting different speeds. * Empowering the starting torque. * Getting faster breaking.
