The alloy offers excellent resistance to organic and inorganic compounds, sulfur compounds, chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, nitriding solutions etc. It has high impact strength even at the room temperature to low temperatures. It is utilized in thermocouples insulation, aerospace engineering, land base gas turbines and incinerators.
